I bought an Aloe Vera plant and extracted some gel from a couple leaves. I put the gel in a mason jar to save it for a later use. The next day the clear gel turned red. Is this normal and if so how long is my aloe vera gel good for?

Probably a bacterial or fungal growth, as well as fermentation. The gel should be kept refridgerated.

I’m on accutane and plan on getting drunk. If it shows up that certain liver enzymes and triglycerides are abnormal and stuff and I end up having to admit to drinking, is the dermatologist obligated to like turn me in to the police or something?

No.

What you tell your doctor is protected under patient privacy rights. But if you are under 18, he is obligated to tell your parents.
