Question by Sienna L: Is there any kind of numbing cream for skin and cartilage?
I want to pierce my septum and I am wondering if there is any kind of numbing gel or cream for skin or cartilage, something that Makes it REALLY numb so that I almost can’t feel it. I know that you can get a few certain kinds of it at Walgreens but I am not 100% sure.

Yes you get it but you can’t put it in/on your nose because that’s a mucous membrane. Why don’t you just use ice? How are you planning to pierce it anyway? With a tiny pin? Do you know how much blood is in the nose? And that is where lots of bacteria hide out? Good luck. When you pierce things even at home you need a clamp, that is half of the purpose of a clamp. How could you not know that ? If you even have a big enough tool your piercing will be squint for sure.
Also cartilage doesn’t hurt to pierce, so that piercing generally does not hurt, unless they pierce it wrong, in which case it will hurt like hell.
