I have little patches of psoriasis on my elbows and one of my knees. I use some topical creams right now containing either coal tar or salicylic acid.

i just read an article that using too many face products can be harmful to your skin and im worried that i might be doing too much (im 19 y/o female with combination skin)

morning: cleanse with clarisonic using cetaphil cleanser
spot treat acne with murad acne spot treatment
spot treat acne marks with some glycolic acid stuff i got from the dermatologist
c.booth black licorice eye cream
neutragena spf 50 moisturizer

night:
cleanse with clarisonic/cetaphil
spot treat acne with murad
spot treat with glycolic acid
c.booth eye cream
ole henriksen vitamin c truth serum
cetaphil moisturizer

then every 5 days ill exfoliate with olay microdermabrasion system
oh and about once a week ill use either ddf face mask or boscia black peel off face mask
would it be alright if i took out the glycolic acid/acne spot treatment so it’d just be

cleanse with clarisonic/cetaphil
cbooth eye cream
spf moisturizer

and night
cleanse with cetaphil/clarisonic
cbooth eye cream
ole henriksen serum
moisturize

and then exfoliate every 5 days

oh my gosh your killing your skin with chemicals!!!!! i dont know what you are using all of this for if its just acne but your skin is overwhelmed and all that stuff is not helping you obviously.

Can spa therapies be used as anti aging treatment instead of using medicines, tablets and lotions?

“Spa therapies” include a variety of unproven treatments that basically make people feel good, but not much else. Yes, massage feels nice, so does a steam bath, and probably all the other whacky stuff they do to you. None of this prevents or delays aging however. For that matter, neither do medicines, tablets and lotions.

If you enjoy spa treatments, if they make you feel special and relaxed, then go for it. Just don’t expect any long term benefits.

I just want to know, because I’ve gone through so many face washes and they either made my skin dry or oily, and I found one that works so tell me if its ok:
I use Oxy Daily Facial Cleanser Triple Action
Then I use a Noxzema Citrus Toner
Then I TRY to moisturize with Olay, sometimes I just don’t want to but I know I should.
Opinions on it would be helpful, or anything else that has worked for you.

I’ve read online about resveratrol and im thinking about getting it, but does anyone know what KIND of resveratrol works best? I’ve heard of resveratrol ultra but I want to know what KIND actually works the best.

Also, is it okay to combine resveratrol with other resveratrol products or some other kind of anti-aging stuff for maximun effects?

I ordered resveratrol from Biotivia Longevity Bioceuticals. I did a lot of looking around and this company seems very legit. There resveratrol has been validated and certified and they have done an enormous amount of research on the product. It’s organic and they harvest their own materials. Take a look at their website. They have loads of info. If you are going to buy any resveratrol just make sure that it is pharmaceutical grade and the company has published some of their own research about their product.

As far as taking it with other anti-aging stuff…I probably won’t take it with my fish oil supplements anymore but I will continue to take it with my Vit E, C, Selenium, Mag, and Co Q 10 supps.

Resveratrol is one component of red wine that apparently assists in lots of ways providing good health such as better digestion, lower blood sugar, and lower cholesterol. It is part of the “French Enigma” where French people drink lots of red wine, eat goose and duck fat, and still have lower cholesterol than Americans or English people. I don’t think there is an age limit to buy it, but I do know that it is important to research and buy only highest quality product. Most products on the market now only contain a small amount if any.

If you are young, I don’t think this is something you have to concern yourself with. I think perhaps over 25 or 30 is an age to start looking into this.
