Question by Sarah: Why does my lip ring still get sore?
I’ve my bottom lip pierced for almost a year now an it still gets sore sometimes. there is no puss or blood or swelling, its just a irritating soreness. I usually only wear studs b/c if i wear an actual ring it makes my lip more sore. And it doesn’t hurt every day…just sometimes. Is it normal for this to happen?

Putting a ring in a lip piercing that usually has a straight post through it will hurt, because it’s making the piercing hole bend into a different shape.
Mine sometimes gives me trouble even after having a ring through it for some time. I think that’s because of the way the ring flips from being angled to the left to being angled to the right, and back and forth like that.

If it hurts while you’re wearing a straight post and have been for a while, I’m not sure what the trouble could be. Unless you bite the backing studs, or wear bioplast or any other kind of plastic bar? Wearing bioplast in mine seems to dry it out after a couple weeks and it hurts to move them at all.

Question by ELIZABETH: Are collagen pills & vitamins taken just twice a week still effective?
I recently bought three bottles of vitamin supplements, Collagen + C, Vitamin E, & Omega 3 fish oil. To save money I have decided to take only one of each bottle every day, I eat healthily already so I don’t want to overdose on vitamins either, will the vitamins & most importantly the collagen still have an effect on my body if I don’t take a pill every day?

They get effective everyday and if you skip it the effect is low but if you miss for 1 or 2 it won’ t make a difference…
