What is your skin type? normal, dry, combination, oily or sensitive b. What type of coverage do you want? barely there, light, medium, full? c. What kind of foundation do you prefer? liquid, cream, mousse, tinted, mineral etc. d. What finish do you want? matte or natural 2. Face must be clean and moisturised with no makeup 3. Try on a yellow-based foundation as this suits everyone 4. Choose 3 shades which closely match you skin and apply on the jawline down wards. Do not test on wrists, hands or neck as skin colours may vary 5. Blend foundation well. Please note water-based foundations will change colour when it dries 6. Check foundation in natural daylight. So be sure to take a compact mirror with you 7. Check foundation blends well into the skin and looks natural. Foundation should not be obvious.
