www.rhinoplastyspecialist.com – 310.275.2467 Osteotomies are a surgical maneuver to bring the nasal bones in making them more symmetric and narrow. Beverly Hills Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon Dr. Paul Nassif, often seen on Dr. 90210, invite’s you into the operating room to demonstrate and explain how and why osteotomies are performed. His patient is a young female undergoing a tertiary (her 3rd) revision rhinoplasty procedure. My fellowship director, J. Regan Thomas, MD, told me something that Ill never forget you havent learned anything about rhinoplasty until youve performed at least a thousand procedures and followed them for many years. This statement epitomizes why fellowships are so valuable. Some of the needed experience and potential pitfalls are circumvented by first hand observing and learning the analysis, judgment, techniques, complication management and most importantly, results from a seasoned rhinoplasty surgeon. This is why I super-specialized in rhinoplasty surgery during my fellowship in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. The training catapults you years ahead of many other surgeons that arent fortunate to have post-graduate training. http Spalding Drive Cosmetic Surgery and Dermatology 120 S. I had the same surgery on December 2nd. I am still on crutches but i have had some setbacks. You should be walking normal in about three weeks with the boot. You should be able to start therapy after that.
