Question by : Why won’t my weight go down? :( ?
I’m trying to get my weight from 134 to 110 – 115. I’m 18 years old and 5’3″ and I have a medium bone-frame. My measurements are 38C-28-40. My parents say I’m obese so I’m trying to drop some weight.

For exercise I do 50 – 75 minutes of intense cardio. Most days it’s DDR (an dancing game and I always play on the hardest level at a fast speed – it is very intense and I have seen great results from it) but I do mix it up. Sometimes I’ll do jump rope, running-in-place, jumping squats and mountain climbers. I also do 100 squats, push ups, 30 lunges, 30 leg lifts, 15 minutes worth of cellulite removal exercises and planks. I mix it up.

I usually eat around 1200 – 1400 calories a day. My diet has lots of lean protein (nuts, chicken breasts, tuna, and eggs) vegetables, fruits, and whole grains. I drink tons of water, some green tea (no sugar) and a glass of skim milk in the morning.

What am I doing wrong? My weight has gone down 1 pound in ONE MONTH. :(
I have changed my routine up almost completely. I always add more time, reps, etc to everything I do. I do eat a healthy diet lots of vegetables, healthy fats (even peanut butter) fruits and so on. I already explained that.
Maybe I’m eating too few calories?

You’re probably gaining a lot of muscle from all the lifting and exercise. I would say to focus on your diet a little more. Are you eating lean proteins, veggies and complex carbs? Go more for fruits and healthy fats (peanut butter, avocado – make you happy and smart) too. Also, I recommend keeping a food journal of what you ate for a week or 2 to analyze your diet accurately. Good luck!
