Question by Gimpy: Do I need to wear a knee brace when I return to sports after a second knee surgery?
This year has been the worst for my left knee. I tore my ACL in Jan. had reconstructive surgery in March. Tore the cartilage in my knee in June had surgery on October 22nd. Should I wear a brace when I go back to sports to prevent any more trauma to my knee? I play golf and basketball.

Answer by mle111190 YES – it sounds like you are very prone to recurring injury in your knee – It would be very wise to protect yourself in every way possible from this happening again as it is an awful injury. Wear the knee brace and hopefully your knee will be fine
