Answer by Fred Said… you can use neosporin, but the p jelly works the same way, by coating it with p jelly, you are keeping bacteria out of the wound! With neosporin, theres a chance of scar tissue forming.

I had heart surgery long ago, and it basically cut my chest muscle in half, its pretty f***in deformed. I am thinking about having it corrected with surgery, but if the operation requires a Foley catheter, screw it.

Answer by sokokl It would depend on whether general anesthesia was being used or not. It would also depend on how long the procedure is going to be for.
However, I would recommend checking with your surgeon as well as the anesthesiologist of the hospital where you would be having your surgery to see what they say.
