What you probably have is called herpies simplex, there is NO CURE, but there is treatment, it’s called “abreva”. (found at wal-marts) Also you can strengthen your immune system by taking multi vitiman with zinc and vitiman c in it . Sorry for the bad news!!

If you are not exhibiting an outbreak of herpes (which can be diagnosed in some instances via a viral culture, or swab of the sores), you ask your doctor or the clinic for the herpes test. Specifically, an IgG “type-specific” herpes blood test, which will diagnose which “type” of herpes you may have–HSV-1 (oral herpes/cold sores), or HSV-2 (genital herpes). Be aware that the HSV-1 (cold sore) can actually be present in the genitals via oral sex–and not on the typical site, which is the lips.

Depending on the doctor/clinic/lab, it can take from 2-10 days to get your results back. You might want to check out the Herpes Handbook for an explanation of the different tests that can be run for herpes.
