Nothing seems to help improve the psoriasis except tropical climates, do any of you know of a topical ointment that may help at least soothe it a bit?

I agree! The winter really kills your skin!

The BEST product I have ever tried is “Gold Bond Medicated” cream. It’s not the cheapest product but it is definitely the best!

I have little patches of psoriasis on my elbows and one of my knees. I use some topical creams right now containing either coal tar or salicylic acid.

Looking for an effective, readily available, anti aging facial cream. What to look for when shopping for one.
I am lookiing for a brand name here, not generalized information on how the products should or can work.

I am in my 30′s. I have some blemishes on my face, some mild wrinkles on my forehead, and some laugh lines. Nothing too serious. Am I too young to start using the over-the-counter anti- wrinkle creams such as Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle cream w/spf?

Someone told me that these products can actually CREATE wrinkles if you use them when you don’t need to.

Can you give me some advice?

I’d think that 30 was old enough. Try it out, and if it doesn’t work for you, stop using it. If it does, then great!

I have a mild rosacea problem and before I started hunting down a dermatologist, I was just curious if anyone knew of anything over the counter that I could try first.
I would search products on the internet, but I think the word of mouth is better. I like to hear from people who’s actually tried a product and got results… weather it worked or didn’t.

This is a real review I forgot to add that this product isn’t fragrance free so beware of that!! please don’t go out and buy this product just because I think this product is effective for me. As always, look into the product read some reviews see if you can get a baby version to try out or ask a friend. Watch out for offers!! I bought this for one pound at ASDA. Quick grab it before its gone…if it doesn’t work out for you then you haven’t lost out on much. Enjoy the video!! allypopp x

My neighbor”s dog has a condition on it’s tail. It is a type of dermatitis (vet diagonose last time). The dog’s tail has lost hair in a certain pattern. It looks like a rat tail, bald spot then hair then bald spot again etc. The bald patches are rather dry and scaly with no redness. Unfornutatley at this time she is not able to take her dog to the vet and wants to know if there is any over the counter medication that would work. Thanks.

Use an olive oil treatment on your scalp, warm. Leave it on for a few minutes, until you feel some relief. Olive oil is the closest to the natural oils found in human skin.

I used to work for an inventory service and at the time had an irritation on my scalp. I found this shampoo that was made for african americans and I was buying it and using it. It made my hair so soft and helped my scalp so much. I didn’t know it was made for african american hair. I got it for what it said it would do. The people I worked with were looking at me like I was crazy, so I said what ‘s up with you guys? Then my one girlfriend took me aside and said everyone wanted to know why I was buying that when it was made for …. hair? I didn’t know. I wish I could find it now or remember what it was called, or if they even still have it. I will go out and look for it tomorrow and edit if I do.

In the meantime, I have found another that may help after you have done a warm olive oil treatment. It is called “Silk Elegance” shampoo and conditioner. You can get it at “Sally’s. There is another I could recommend, but try this and see if it doesn’t work for ya. Again, made for your specific hair type.
